The double room I stayed in at Aji Verde Hostel was amazing! It had a private bathroom with a rainfall showerhead, which made me feel like I was showering in the rain. The heated floors were a cozy touch, and I loved having a cable TV and free WiFi for entertainment. The bed was comfy, and the room had a nice patio where I could relax.
The only thing I didn't love was that the room didn't have a balcony. But hey, that's just my personal preference, and others might still enjoy the room without it.

Fireplaces, movies, rice cookers, game room, spa services, and a rooftop terrace? It's like staying in a luxury resort! Who needs a beach when you have Aji Verde Hostel?
Oh, I forgot to mention the lack of gold-plated doorknobs and the absence of a private butler. How could I survive without such necessities?

We had a fantastic stay at Aji Verde. The women's dorm room was clean and comfortable, with great amenities like multiple pillows, a cozy comforter, and even sheets, which is rare for budget hostels in South America. The room also had lockers for our belongings and plenty of lounge space. The lovely woman with long dark hair at the hostel was incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay one of the best we've had in months. I highly recommend this place for a great stay in an interesting town.

The location of this hostel was fantastic - just a few blocks from the main square and close to the market area. It made it really easy for us to explore the city and enjoy the local attractions. Additionally, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. They even organized fun events and game nights for the guests, which added a nice touch to our New Year experience.
While the hostel had many positives, there were a couple of downsides as well. the breakfast offered was quite simple, with only bread and butter provided.

This hidden gem is centrally located, allowing you to easily explore the city on foot. Just a short walk away from the bus station and even the beach, it offers convenience at its best. the dorm rooms are clean and spacious, with plenty of storage for backpacks. the showers are always hot and the bathrooms are consistently clean. the friendly and helpful staff, some fluent in English, create a welcoming atmosphere. They even provide great tips for your upcoming travels.
There were some stray cats roaming around the common areas, which may not be ideal for those with allergies or phobias.

I chose Aji Verde for its convenient location near La Recova Craft Market, a place I've always wanted to visit. I was pleasantly surprised by the free WiFi throughout the property. the individually furnished accommodations with separate dining areas were a nice touch.
Room cleanliness was an issue. The double room we stayed in was a little grubby, and the extra blankets provided were dusty and smelly.

The rooftop terrace view was absolutely stunning, offering a breathtaking panorama of the city. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a beer or glass of wine from the small bar located on the premises. They went above and beyond to ensure that guests were well taken care of.
There were a couple of downsides to my stay. the breakfast provided was quite limited, consisting only of bread and jam.
